Loison Colomba Easter Dove Cake with Zabaione Cream 750g (26.5oz)



  • Hidden in the  Zabaione Colomba is a generous amount of decadent sabayon filling, a foamy cream prepared with egg yolks according to the Turin recipe that also calls for sweet liqueur wine.
  • Cake made by means of the natural fermentation of sourdough, with an irregular oval shape, reminiscent of a dove.
  • The cake is soft and light textured enriched with candied orange peel. The loaf is covered with icing and decorated with granulated sugar and almonds.

Ingredients; Wheat flour, cream, Fresh EGGS, Icing , Sugar, Candied Oranges from Sicily peels , Butter,Grain of sugar, Emulsifiers mono and diglycerides of fatty acids of vegetable origin, Glucose syrup, Natural sourdough yeast, Italian ALMONDS , MILK proteins, Salt, Natural flavours.

Shelf life: Keep in a cool dry place the product, closed in its original packaging, has shelf life of 8 months from the date of manufacture.

The Colomba is hand-wrapped in an elegant pastel-coloured printed wrapping solution. Wrapped with a satin ribbon to which are applied the ingredients label and a charm depicting the “”L”” of Loison.
