Somi Tsuyu Japanese All-Purpose Noodle Soup Base is a traditional concentrated mentsuyu crafted in Japan, using high-quality ingredients for authentic flavor. This richly umami tsuyu features plenty of carefully selected katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes), along with dried mackerel and sardines, providing an elegant, mild taste that enhances noodle dishes and beyond. Produced by Somi Shokuhin since the 1950s, this versatile base is ideal for everyday cooking. It can be diluted for use in soba, udon, somen, nabe hot pots, tempura dipping sauce, or as a seasoning for stir-fries and marinades. The balanced blend of soy sauce and fish dashi creates a savory depth without overpowering other ingredients. Ingredients: Soy sauce (water, soybeans, wheat, salt), sugar, salt, dried bonito, dried mackerel, dried baby sardine, amino acids (monosodium glutamate).
